So if anyone played Unreal Tournament 2004, should probably know this multiplayer gametype.
It's something similar to Countdown but with few modifications. It's kind of a basketball game.
The ball is in the middle of the map, and both teams go there to get it. Baskets (Hoops) are located in each teams base, so opponent team have to enter enemy base and score a point.There is a spinning electrical ball,
located between both teams. "Get the
ball" and it will surround you with
a cool forcefield.
You now have a "ball launcher" in your hands, and everyone is after you to get the ball before you score a goal.
Locate your opponent's base, and
score points by jumping through
a forcefield "hoop". You can
also release the ball by aiming
& shooting it into the hoop
with the ball launcher.
When player has a ball, he can't shoot his weapons. Instead of this, he can pass a ball to another player, or shoot it into free space.
I think this could be a nice and very dynamic mod for Team Deathmatch gametype.
