flooding without an end?!
Hi Guys,
today on our server we caught a cheater using aimbot.. after kick he came back and told us he will crach the server... and he did..
So I made a restart..
Now when a player is joinng the log-file become bigger and bigger in just a few seconds..
I post a small section of the log.. it counts and it counts.. same error..
Seems a kind of flooding but how to stop this?
I installed the latest patch version (2.5 beta) but doesnt work..
Any suggestions?

Hi, I have no idea how he has managed to crash the server, so if you have any additional information about this or any logs with him crashing, please post them etc.
We'll try to fix the problem.
Anyway, just try to change map or kill and run mohaa server again. It will stop.

I had changed the map rotation in server.cfg before I posted here..
How to kill the server when I cant start them..
I tried so i wrote the killerver command directly in the server.cfg
But it doesnt work..

seems the crasher is triggering some event in the scripts or animations somewhere somehow which will lead to an infinite loop which will defacto crash the server.
What else mods you are running ?

Hi,
we run an own weapon mod. I had disabled our mod after reading ur post but the restart of the server has the same result.. crashes immediatly...

do you have teamviewer? You could set up temporary account and give it to JoTo or heatsinkbod or anyone else, so they will be able to help you.
It looks like there's a new way of crashing server that we need to fix.

I believe Viper(forgot which one) found out a way to crash a linux server with the handgun, didn't work on windows only linux. Dont know if he ever released on how he figured it out. Im not saying he's doing it just that he found out a way.

Hi,
I have restarted the server yet and tried to connect... timed out and the the logfile grows up quickly.. I think this guy is so freakin bored, so he keep an eye of us..
but I try to figure out how it works.. does he have a prog, which is aiming a target.. our server in this case?
