    Unhappy Admin Feature Not Working

    I'v recently set up the reborn patch on the -[V]4L- servers, and on our freezetag everything works fine. However in our main server (-[V]4L-Clan [LONDON] 217.163.10.59) all features including votes, bad command kicks, chat filter, ip filter and everything else works- except the admins login, i have set up the admins.ini correctly (the same as in the freezetag server that works there) but I can login without typing any password or being promted for a password, it's as if no admins are being registered...
    Any ideas?

    hmm, are you running the latest version of the patch?
    Also are the binaries the same on both servers (this includes mohaa\ded exe's and cgamex\original gamex)?
    I would check your unnamedsoldier.cfg file to check if anything is funky there.

    We are deffinatly running the lastest version.. I presume the binaries are the same- both servers are on Gameservers.
    Also we are getting server crashes on the server where admin doesn't work- I'm not sure if it's linked..

    No it's not connected, we'll be working on this.

    Strange thing.. hmmm... make sure you don't have any additional spacesafter names, passwords etc.

    Also, after setting it up, change map.. maybe file isn't loaded.

    Checked, all seems good- and exactly the same admins.ini is running fine in our freezetag too, map change also doesnt affect it- still not working. As an admin I am not promped for a password before I login.

    Maybe you have this password already in your unnamedsoldier config? If you have it, it won't ask you again.

    No it isn't in there- and if it was then I would have access to the admin features (be able to do commands) which I cant.

    After a server restart the chatfilter, Ipfilter and admins dont work...

    Very very strange... looks like it can open files, but can't read from them. Check file permissions. Set 777 for them.

    I used to have the same problem. It is a problem at gameservers and you have to send them a ticket that the patchfiles need to be synchronized with a restart.

    Because gameservers put the files in the main instead of the mohaa folder the game wont read them unless gameservers makes some kind of connection.
