    Default Is there a Tool for placeing spawn_models ?

    Good morning to you !

    Iīm actually on working to add alot of spawn_model on standart :AA maps.
    Itīs very time consuming to do this by hand by go into the map and search a good place, open the console and type coord, do a screenshot and add the Model and its position in the script etc. you know the drill ...

    So my question is there any tool out to place spawn_models ?
    Iīve tried the Basebuilder Mod out in my hope i can get the coord out when i placed a Model. But its doesnt work for my needs.

    to open the ingame menu press (M) to open it then pich the items you want to spawn
    
    to run this mod you will need to exec a config file from console
    all files and cfg's are in this zip
    
    dev.cfg will allow you to set developer on to save the coords to the log file in your main folder
    dev1.cfg turns off the developer to set mohaa back to normal
    
    so lets say you want to mod stalingrad
    you will need mohdm6.scr(find it in main/pak6.pk3)
    then open your (qconsole.log) in main folder then copy and past the mod coords to a new txt doc.
    then save the file as fix1.scr
    then open mohdm6.scr in notepad then type this under
    
    level waitTill prespawn
    exec/dm/fix1.scr
    
    now to put your mod into a pk3
    i use winrar so ill tell you how to do this with winrar
    click add to zip then name your zip zzz-mymod.pk3 then start
    thats it

    Open when MOHAA/MOHSH/MOHBT is open and bind a key to coord ingame and then run around and press your bound key and the coords will appear in the autocoord tool!

    Hey Hey !
    Thank you for your support at first!

    Now iīm stuck on this for 3 hrs to getting this running, but something always went wrong.
    I donīt know what i did wrong the lat 3 hrs, but it tried alot of methodes to get this running, but nothing Help.

    What i did:
    1) Copied all Files in to Mohaa/main folder like the readme showing me and bound via bind m "pushmenu EZModder" in unnamedsoldier.cfg
    2) Starting Mohaa and choose mohdm7 and start the map up.
    3) open the console and type exec autoexec.cfg and dev.cfg, iīve got positive responses from the console.
    3a) after this was not working i started Mohaa up again and now i typed dev.cfg in the console without the autoexec.cfg
    4) See the Screenshots: All seems be okay and works ...

    So iīm finished with my knowledge atm. Maybe i did something wrong...

    Autocoord wasnīt work in my first try...a COMDLG32.OCX was missing and downloaded it manually and put it into Syswo64 Folder, but the registering via "regsrv xxxxx" failed too, so i downloaded the Visual Basic 6 Runtime Module ( https://www.chip.de/downloads/Visual..._12993706.html ) and installed it. Autoccord was now playing with me.

    But i didnīt need this thing atm because EZ MODDER donīt work...i think so ...

    People, this was my wasted Afternoon ....
    Any ideas whats going on with EZ MODDER ?

    Oh hey I made EZ Modder ages ago! Cool to see it exists still. Sorry it's not working easy for you.

    Based on the console log it seems to be writing out just fine (so the configs are working). Did you select a model and spawn it somewhere?

    Basically the premise was that you could run around and press the "use" button and it would spawn the object at your feet. Then when you pressed the fire button it would write out every object spawn code between this:

    I think i did all correctly in using of this tool. Iīve tried various combianations of key-pressing in the hope i did a mistake..
    Now a week later i give the tool another try and itīs still not working.
    But please, what do you mean with "press the "use" button and it would spawn the object at your feet" ?
    After i choose a model and key pressing the model will appears so i can see it ? That never has happend to me !

    My next idea is to change the HDD in my laptop and install Windows XP directly on it..maybe there is something missing in my Win7 ...
    Okay, i will give a feedback later this day.

    EDIT: Native Windows XP didnīt run on my Laptop..Need some Driver but sadly Asus hasnīt for XP.
    So i installed Virtual Box and XP runs on it, but when i start MOHAA in VBox i getting Error for the Graphic card..too less graphic memory.
    My Laptop has 128MB graphic memory only and Vbox consumes all the memory....So i canīt do anything here exept buying a new Laptop..but itīs not worth for me.
    So i cancel this project.

    The use key is the key to open doors, pick up objects. It worked for me when I tested it.
