    Default Might have to remove RC1 ALPHA

    Hello,

    I had the RC1 ALPHA ver of the patch installed this morning. It has helped as far as I can tell with stopping several MOHAABOF attacks. But the parade ends there. Players are being kicked randomly myself included. With different errors on my desktop seeing the console as when it happens it kicks completely back to desktop. I have confirmed this with others that it has happened to . Several other strange things going on like players 'ghosting' or however you want to put it around corners and flashing when antiwh is on and some lag issues with it. We have lost 70% of regular players because of this. Tried also running with antiwh - stwh off as well with no better results. I absolutely LOVE the ability to assign individual Admin accounts and the IP filter and the MOHAABOF protection. I would take a patch that just protects from MOHAABOF. Should be easy to make one since you already have it written. Would pay you for it. The point being that if I can't stop these problems (at least the random kicking of players) I will have no choice but to remove it. Any help would be appreciated -in layman's terms please as I am no Guru obviously-

    Remove MAM (zzzz_server.pk3) and Foresight for now.

    MAM has some serious problems with our patch. Thats why there those strange messages, this might also happen with Foresight.

    in your .cfg:

    seta sv_antiwh 0
    seta sv_stufftextdetection 0

    then reset your server (kill, run again)

    should fix all your problems.

    I will miss my in game rcon menu. I could freeze players/punishment and kick them.
    Also had 'pulldowns' to change map/gametype/cvars/connect to other servers and
    could custom edit them if I choose. What other program would you recommend that's
    compatible with RC1 and has these options? I already have a team balancer as you know.

    I don't remember right now, but I'll come up with something when I get back home, 'coz I'm writing from my university right now.

    We still don't know why MAM is causing problems with our patch. But my guess is, it has some hidden bugs/issues that come up when you run patched mohaa (eg. this: CGM buffer messages. If game runs properly they never should occur)

    Me or JoTo could probably investigate into MAM and adjust it / fix problems to make it 1.12 compatibile.

    Also, when full 1.12 platform will be released, some mods will probably need to be rewrtitten or it would be nice to have them rewritten as 1.12 should come with new scripting commands.

    I had a look at mam + foresight when working on ProMod and took over what I thought was useful (was not that much, sorry), I won't spend any time on other mods then ProMod. If anyone want to continue working / finishing ProMod I appreaciate it and will fully support it.

    I run it on two servers along with the patch, and it works just fine, we dont have issues with it (for sure some bugs - will be fixed sooner or later).

    ProMod was just developed to work optimal together with the patch and to have all nice mods under one hood for convenience.

    Im aware of that some things are missing, like pusnishment (is allready integrated but needs activation)
    and an ingame menu would just be nice, will come sooner or later. (I can promise that it will be released, but not when)

    At the moment no documentation is available (I suck witch such, sorry). But if user spends some time with it user should get the idea, and forums here are open for questions etc.
