Thread: Banning Bug?

    Default Banning Bug?

We are running newest reborn patch for windows servers, which can be found in "Home" category. I thought that it can be reborn bug as I heard not once that before reborn there was no banning system in MoH:AA. From time to time, but not often similar situation to one below happens:

    1. Typed banid 10, guy name Devilsim, IP: 200.159.162.116.
    2. Server: kicking magdy el zaber for banned ip. Okay, at that point i thought that they play from one IP together.
    3. Devilsim still on server, that's normal, magdy el zabber had IP: 46.147.138.174 and ID number 9.
    4. I kicked Devilsim.

After that I checked and both IP numbers were in ban list, can someone explain me how is it possible, because it doesn't happen first time?

This sounds like a bug, unless you use some type of admin panel that issues those commands?

Nope, I don't like that type of MoH:AA custom software. One more bug relevant to topic, sometimes after banning a player he doesn't get kicked from server, but his IP indeed gets added to IPfilter. Again, it's not occuring often, but it happens once in 100-300 bans.
