With reborn you can output stats to a separate file and just use that with the webserver, saves having to dredge through the logfiles.

That's what i meant, Instead of letting the web server sync from files stats can be transferred via sockets.(aka MORE RELIABLE)It'd allow direct serverside stats to web, mohaa tv etc
suggested this and file io a long time ago, we got files, not sockets. a bit harder to add anyway
You can take what elgbot did and write a stats file for each maps. Then your server code just treats a folder like a DB and links a template to the info in a page. Easier option without sockets.
It's not more reliable, it's just easier.
