is there a cure against no fog?
Don't think so slim maybe, $player[local.i] stufftext ("setu r_farplane 0;setu r_farplane_nocull 0;setu r_farplane_nofog 0) I gave up on that and just removed all fog from maps. There used to be openGL hack that did that don't know how it worked think it was on a toggle on/off so if that what they used you would have to stufftext them all the time and that would probably lag like hell.
Can fog be added through an scr file? or built into the map? I'm not sure how to fix that because if someone has a hacked clientside cheat cvar they can toggle it with r_farplane. I think you can do 1 of a few things.
A. Clientside AC
B. Use stufftext to force that cvar to be turned on
C. You might be able to spawn it serverside (not sure)
This has been fixed since ages.
I've rebuilt gldirect to support fog (it was already there just devs forgot to enable it).
