    I may give a shot at compiling the (*nix) server portion of openmohaa. I assume I need a github account?

    You don't need a Github account for a public repository and if you don't plan to create issues / pull requests.

    I was just going by your first post in this thread....
    Before starting, check this thread, you will need an account in order to access the Gitlab.
    Without a pull request, I'll just email you if I find anything worth adding or suggestions. I'll look at what's there first, since I haven't ever looked under the hood on openmohaa yet. I'm curious if the build environment integrates autotools, platform specific init scripts (systemd is EVIL! lol), etc. Cant wait to check it out!
