Gameservers Installation Fail of Mod

This mod does not install correctly, the error message is Error was GLIBC_2.7 not found. This is using a new version of GLIBC that is not in use by any major linux distribution. We can not upgrade to a new version of GLIBC to install this mod.

Hi *****,

I am assigning this to Level 3 support as the servers needs to be updated in order to run your mod.
Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Installation for Unix / Linux:

1. Rename your original fgameded.so to fgamededmohaa.so
2. Paste our fgameded.so to mohaa folder
3. Paste fgamededmohaa.so and mohaa_lnxded to mohaa folder (you can skip this if you are sure you are running newest release from Icculus)
4. Paste all the .cfg and .ini files to mohaa folder
5. Run the server


(Please Note: It is important that you keep the original files and just rename them:

for windows: gamex86.dll ---> gamex86mohaa.dll
for linux: fgameded.so ---> fgamededmohaa.so

else the server will not work)

AND MAKE A BACKUP OF YOU ORIGINAL FILES BEFORE INSTALLING THE PATCH.

I have applied the file as you requested, but unfortunately, it is still giving the same error.

I am sorry, but as Sean stated, we cannot upgrade the GLIBC for you.

Ok i have updated my ticket with gameservers, hopefully now it will be success

It should resolve the problem, because we had the same problem with Joto and I released small patch to work with servers that have problems with GLIBC_2.7

So it should work.

im also having the same problem with gameservers, but i cannot find the updated patch in the download section to fix this issue, i see joto has posted it, but it doesnt give me the option to download it. i have both a windows and linux server and the linux seems to be the only one having issues. i would like to get this working on both servers to test it out, also was wondering if this would work with mefys mod?
