hi all ....
a quick question on setting up admin_auth .......
would it be ok to add this to the exe /command line ???
and the pdf is not really clear as to the format .....setu admin_auth "his_password"
does this mean the username_password or just the password ?
i have tried setting it ingame from the console ,then realised the pdf states "before joing the server"
clarification for a noob please .....Dax.
''his_password'' is the password you assigned to that username.
for example in admin.ini I have got the following (changed pass though):
name=Shadow password=hippies rights=16383
(make sure that there are about 5 spaces between your name and 'password' and also between your actual password and 'rights')
Then you have 2 options on how to activate this ingame.
1. Go ingame, open console and type in: setu admin_auth hippies
(password is from my example)
2. Go to your unnamedsoldier.cfg (in your mohaa folder) and place the following line in there: setu admin_auth hippies
Now make the file read-only and you will be 'logged in' to your admin account on the server for ever.
Although you HAVE to use the same name as written in the admin.ini. If I would change my name from Shadow to Shadow77 for example, I will be logged out of the admin thing.
p.s. also a lovely way to keep namefakers away, if they want to use my name, they would need to have my password, otherwise they can't join (or when they are already in they get kicked).

hi all....
thanks for the clarification, now have it working .
plus tested in the commandline works great ,but adding to the cfg didn't ????
probably my rubbish keyboard skills....lol .
Dax.
for the config part probably what is messing you up is that the file is not set as read only. go to unnamedsoldier.cfg and right click>properties. at the bottom of the window that comes up click the box next to read only and hit apply then hit ok. Don't put any quotes around it when you put the info in the config and it should work
