I just saw the CEO's LinkIn profile and got some info too.
In early 2012 it was apparent that the gaming industry was (and still is) being negatively impacted by the increasing use of "cheat" software being used by players to improve their in-game ranking. The use of these cheats continues to cause damage to game-reputation and diminished enjoyment of legitimate users everywhere. A new anti-cheat tool was in desperate need and thus GameBlocks was created. Game developers now have a significant advantage in the war on anti-cheat and other aspects of controlling player behavior in real-time

I truly appreciate the work that you've been doing for this game guys. All the crash fixes and anti cheat mechanisms are great. The anti-wh does have some flashing lag but most of the time it's ok on regular servers and matter fact we occasionally turn it on/off on our servers.Having the ability to enable/disable for one particular player would be even better.
What do you think about starting a petition in change.org to ask EA to make MOHAA source code public ? Would that make it easier to fix some of the problems ?

Unfortunately there has been numerous attempts at asking for the source code from EA with no success. As far as i had read, they seem to have 'lost' the source code.

will write later something to the matter, am at the moment busy with studying power consumptions on my system (with surprising results so far).

A note quickly: EA doesnt have the source code and they most probably never had it and also most probably not their fault.

nope. You cant blame them for that (maybe for other stuff dunno, but not that).

You have to understand that EA is just a publisher, its the studios who create the games, some of them are owned by EA others not, some are integrated.
Mohaa has been created by 2015 which is an independent company (afaik) why on earth should they handle over the source code to another company if thats not part of a contract.
Questions where the source code is should be directed to 2015 or the 2 guys who left that company and formed Infinity Ward.

Slimbips, Gary just might do it!
I mean, he also found out about UFO's and free energy stuff. the MOHAA sourcecode should be a piece of cake for him.
Or maybe Julian Assange can leak the sourcecode!

Joto is right. The only other "potential" person to ask is icculus. Now, he works under contract so he made the *nix version of MOHAA, but maybe he knows a direct contact we can get ahold of.
