Updates to the site

I just want to let everyone know, I'm working with the devs and other staff members on the forums to try and make the overall patch and site experience more user friendly.

As you may or may not know, I have provided a downloadable (ready to go 3.5.1) Windows Server that you just need to download and unpack and it's ready to use after you configure the server.cfg to your liking.
We now also have a Linux version that has been packed by own3mall.

What this means is, if anyone runs into any problems Windows or Linux, they can now just use these packages without having to worry if the patch is installed correctly.

Now these installs DON'T include the latest release 117 build (against the crashes we have witnessed), but you can easily force the update without any hassle by typing this into console on the server: rcon forceupdate

Actually, the Linux version does have 117... pretty sure.

The zip file i am currently making will contain the reborn patch ready to go copy and paste install for dummies method ( similar to above mentioned ) but without the pak.pk3 files which causes a large file size.
Very suitable for people who rent servers which already have the game installed and only want to install the patch and not the full game again.

It will also contain updated documentation, and hopefully a updated admins_editor.exe , when i manage to sort out the problems im facing or if anyone would like to help me with that issue :P

I have also written up some steps you should follow before you post a thread asking for help when it comes to crash issues, which will save time when we ask the same questions over again. This is a Sticky Note at the top of the problem related section ( when james gets round to it :P ).
This is also contain the version number of the latest update so to make it easier to check if you have the latest version.

OK great work all I need to do a tidy up on my own server updates so will try to help also on server roll out docs in line with what you have done many thanks
