Similar Patch for MOH:BT Demo?

Hey guys,

I'm pretty new to this, and I was wondering if there is a way to fix a MOH:BT Demo server format similar to your recent patches for MOHAA. A couple of the more urgent fixes that we need are:

- A fix against a hacker's ability to disable RCON
- A fix against server flooding using the "'Player' is preparing for deployment" message by banned hackers
- An in-game ban system similar to your MOHAA IpFilter.cfg method

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

As far as the first 2 requests, I do believe these fixes are public now. Both exploits have been found by Luigi Auriemma

Here is some info in regards to your questions. Anywho, If you go through his site, he also has fixes posted on there. The fixes are universal so if breakthrough is exploited, it should also be patched using his universal patcher.

As far as the ban system. I agree the ban system is glitchy and not very effective. Currently we're still working on improving the MOHAA game because it is probably the most exploited version of MOH and once we release a version we are satisfied with we may consider in porting it to SH & BT as well.

Thanks so much James, I'll try to find the fixes. The first one is the one of highest priority because it obviously gives any hacker immunity within the server.
