Started this thread to let you know whats going on in patch development
We're still alive and doing various things to make patch better.
Things that are finished today and will be released in next version:
- Voting System fixed, small errors fixed, voting will be anonymous in next release so players names won't override game screen
- Banning System has been rewritten. Now it supports IP banning with mask/wildcrads - eg. 127.0.*.*
- Added additional checks to antiSTWH to finally remove crash bug with standalone machine guns etc. whos owner is different than player
- Stufftext Bypass Detection has been rewritten and works on different basis now, which should be more clean and stable.
- antiFakePlayers/Server Filling has been tweaked and adjusted to work better.
We're also in proccess of reversing some functions from scratch to make antiWH even faster.
Amen to those fixes.. Exactly what I wished for (besides the vote thing, which I ain't using)

Just checking in to see the progress on the patch. Great that you all -esp Razo- are putting in amounts of work. Keep it up and hope to see this thing running soon on the few public servers still around.
From this point, next versions will be numbered in different manner.
Also it's for 90% sure that next version will have auto-update feauture.
After next bug hunting, we'll start working on the full serverside patch pack (including all feautures that are disabled now, and adding some other files) and move to clientside stuff.

from the post dates its nearly a month since the last progress report.

EXC12 version has been released. We are working on final server-side release. It will be Release Candidate 1, and after fixing all the patch bugs, it will be 1st final server-side release. We've got a lot of stuff to add, and a lot of stuff yet to develop so this will take some more time, but we're alive and focused on the project.

that is brilliant news .....we have just set up a test server (windows)with version 11 and will be testing ,soon as we can muster a few more players .
we have tried it with 4 players for an hour or so without any problems ....working stable as a default server .
will set up the version 12 on our server with all mods enabled,and test further .
thanks team and all who have worked towards this project, for bringing innovation and hope for all clans and admins and indeed the majority of players.
